wiring harness routing questions

Im confused on my 1990 honda civic hatch's wiring harness.. i did the dpfi-mpfi switch and everything works perfectly on that, im just currious on if i can run the harness straight from the ecu out...

Hmm well im going to get a d16a6 head and do a mini me swap in a few days, while the heads off and I have access to the insides I'm going to check everything out. Make sure everything's working...

on saturday i timed it and it was out a ways, i got the timing set and it only smoked a little bit, i figured it was the residue left from previously, it ran great, not a puff of smoke till i filled...

Injector question

on my D16a6 injectors there is a cap of sorts, looks like a filter screen that fits in the end of it, would removing that or installing the injectors without those "screens" cause it to run rich?
