if your map sensor thinks its hit max velocity, its entirely feasible that thats whats holding your rpms down. plug up a stock one and see what it does.

p.s. doesnt an h22 have a smaller air...

timing belt and water pump. when the car overheats at idle but cools back off when revv'd it means water pump has most likely gone bad.

honestly, paper clip is the easiest way. or crimping the wires together. however you want to do it so long as the circuit is complete. just offering a solution. gl :)

a couple hundred now in camber kit or a couple later in bearings and cv's. youre call. camber wont much effect your tire wear until youre at extreme angles.

camber kits arent going to affect tire wear much unless you do an extreme drop. keep it close to stock to ensure it, but have the toe set properly and forget about "uneven tire wear"

vtec is supposed to kick somewhere around 3500 rpms, and yes, low oil will disable it. just like a bad reading in the ecu as far as f/a mix

the nuetral safety switch disables the starter system until the clutch is pushed, completing a circuit, in case you leave it in gear so that you dont turn the motor over and move the car like that....

at 190k its time for a new water pump, timing belt, and tensioner. The motor is cooling down when you have it in gear or revved up but overheats at idle is a clear sign that the water pump is going...

cali emissions means it has an egr system. check to make sure that its not clogged up, or that its there at all. i may be wrong, but i dont believe the ecu has anything to do with the egr system so...
