Power system troubleshooting: Alternator Adjustments

So I installed a new battery and a new alternator earlier this week. Awesome.

But today I was on my way to work and lo and behold my car dies.

So here's what happened leading up to that point....

Thanks guys. I just unbolted the bottom bracket that holds on the alternator and it slid right through the gap in the wheel well and it came right out.

Cool. Awesome. From the looks of it it will be a very... very tight squeeze against the axle. And you're pretty positive this will work? I lost my jack stands and I'm not really looking forward to...

What exactly are you referring to by the lower bracket?

Hey party people, so I just got done unhooking all the wiring & unbolting my alternator (top and bottom bolts) and it is currently free however I ran into a bigger problem, I can't get the damn thing...
