Did you rather meant a "warmer, DRYER state" ???

I suspect a sticky, gummy solenoid valve ! Yes/No ???

Maybe distributor cap gasket that the Honda dealer parts dept says "not available" !

I have a P1457 code. Engine will not crank during wet weather & cold. I leave a lit bulb under the hood overnight. Instant start the next day. Anyone know what part(s) should be replaced ? All...

1-got fuel ?
2-fuel pump
3-fuel pressure regulator
4-clogged fuel filter
5-evap purge bypass solenoid
6-evap cannister solenoid
7-EGR
8-bad spark plug(s)

primary resistance = 0.4 to 0.5 ohms
secondary resistance = 15,000 ohms to 25,000 ohms

I found the solenoid under the hood in front of the air intake, not on top of the cannister. The part was ID'ed by a n O'Rielly Auto Parts employee. Warming up the vehicle with a light bulb under the...

Weak spark (fouled plugs) or dead (faulty) coil can cause a NO start.
Plugs may be gapped wrong too.

with a multimeter:
Check coil ohm readings (key off).
Primary terminals : (A & B) 0.30 to 0.50 ohms.
Secondary terminals : (A or + primary) to secondary (tip) 15 k ohms to 25 k ohms
