BTW, AC was on all day with no hesitation. Really gotta get an EX tranny. Hate those crappy gear ratios in the DX 5 speed.

Goodluck guys. Day 2 after Seafoam. Still no hesitation. My guess is that the valves had alot of carbon build up. But you never know. So far so good. I was really thinking ignition coil before...

The product is called Seafoam. It is a sort fuel injection cleaner. Search the forum for it. There's lots of Seafoam uses in forum threads.

I subscribed to this thread because my friends EG hatch D16 was doing the same exact thing. I've also been checking timing (ignition and cam), fuel pressure, plugs, wires, cap, rotor and ignition...

The loping idle is usually cause by a vacuum leak.

My buddies 94 EG hatch does the same exact thing. Has rough idle occasionally but when you tap the gas it'll smooth out. Has a dead spot when accelerating, occasionally stumbles but once the RPMs...
