Well next time don't buy parts from a scrap yard to built it...I got ls vtec on mine going on 2 years and being the shit off it and I see gsr I'm my rear mirror all the time and now I'm going turbo...

:agree:your right about the tq but still from stock to drive the b16 would be more fun and the ls will keep up cause off the tq but than the b16 will pull...
Or get a b18b1/a1 block with b16 head ...

Does it start fine when is cold in the morning? I had same problem but mine was the timing and
And my wires from the ect sensor were touching but the ecu should not be the problem I got a p2p on...

If your going ls vtec so it can be reliable
Arp rod bolts
gsr head studs or Arp
And for better oil flow gsr oil and water pump same with the timing belt
B16 head/gsr cam stock ls pistons pr4 ......

Difference is if you want vtec our not if is complete with tranny just to drop I will go with
The b16 ...now on the price you can find them cheaper if you look around...
