So up on the top of my intake is this ugly square intake resonance chamber held down by only 4 bolts. They obviously put it there for a reason. If I remove it and cap the hole that should be fine...

You can always thread a bolt into somthing and attach the chain, I did on the side of the motor and one on the thermo housing it worked fine. Every situation is different.

the wastegate currently controls your boost pressure by a spring when the spring is overwhelmed it opens letting boost pressure out most wastegates are adjustable by changing the spring ive seen...

the headlight plug is only an activation signal its not the supply of power, he most likely has a add on harness for that. which means the relay is bad, hopefully its not a proprietary one like mine...
