time bomb is a good way to put it. warping is an issue if it fails big time but so is hydrolock if the seal goes and coolant gets in a cylinder at speed. water can't be compressed and you can bend...

input shaft bearing going on my 96 dx hatch 5spd. picked up a 95 ex 5spd from a guy and he mentioned I would need to swap out my tranny mounts for it to bolt in? I was busy looking over the tranny...

put red 74's and a 194 in my ek cluster and swapped out my dx one. had to wait a few hours for it to get dark to see how it looks, but I think I like it

make sure it won't leave you stranded first... fix the rust... tune it up... check the cv's... get the mechanical straight first otherwise you'll just end up with a really good looking lawn ornament

all I will add is with any sort of paint work, the amount of time and effort you put into doing the prep work properly has a HUGE effect on the final product. if you don't take the time to prep them...

just ordered 74's and a 194 in red from http://autolumination.com. since they were so cheap(.29 each) I got amber silicone boots as well. figure if I don't like the red I'll take off the stock blue...

bought an ex gauge cluster. ordered red bulbs and amber silicone boots from http://autolumination.com so I can play with different color combos for the cluster lighting. it is an auto cluster so...

reptaref... these are solid valve stems that use a rubber seal and are tightened on with threaded nut. not the sort of rubber ones that are...

again, devil's advocate. I don't doubt that you could damage alloy wheels blasting them with something that generates a large amount of heat and/or is really abrasive. but in this litigious society...

really? don't bead blast them? so all these shops that blast and powder coat rims are creating a public safety hazard? I could see going after the rims with some really aggressive oxides and removing...

need to replace a sagging headliner in my 96 hatch. found a pristine one for sale out of a 98 lx sedan. will it fit? are they interchangeable?
