I was having the same problems. I replaced Dizzy Got a accel cap+rotor, Then accel wires, new denso plugs and new fuel pump.. Still didnt fix problem So i checked my ecu and swapped it over 2 a well...

Btw ended up NOT being timing it was the lack of O2 sensor got 1 installed and runs 10X'S better :) plus timing was off by a hair nothin to big

D16y7 head on b7 block u can use the P05 but it wil run a little crappy due to the ecu not use to dumping much fuel and it has single wire 02 most likely like mine did. The p06 has 4 wire o2 run 3...

Did u figure out ur problem? I had SAME issue on my 1991 honda civic EF. It was the exact same but it turns out i didnt have 1 of the wire i think it was the crank sensor 1.. I didnt have it clipd...

Im not good at H series motors but is the ecu the wrong 1.. You said it was a swap and i do know if u have a wrong ecu it will cause it to run super rich.. I had a D15b7/D16a6 ecu/dizzy in my old EF...
