Sounds like it should hold up to what I have planned. Aiming to fit an old turbo I have kicking around and run low boost like 5psi. Don't expect I'll get over 230-240 whp which should be fine as I...

fuel pump placement?

Just did the fuel pump and I now notice that when the fuel level gets to about 1/4 or so, I'll have the engine randomly loose all power suddenly returning if I keep the pedal down... Seems to go away...

Re: Weird sound when Shutting off my car?

I can almost guarantee that the sound is just air rushing past your IACV valve and throttle plate. Try lightly tapping the throttle valve and you will get a similar noise as air rushes in equalizing...

Re: 2002 civic ex coupe will not go over 3000 rpm

back probe the TPS connector and look for a smooth transition from 0.5 v closed throttle to 4.5 v wide open.

Re: 2001 Civic (Acura EL) manual transmission problems

I had a similar issue with second gear. I lubricated the bushing ends of the shift cables as above, changed to GM synchromesh fluid and bled the master/slave cylinder with positive result. Gone 1...

Re: Rear Suspension - 'knock'

Checked it out last night and the spring seems solid. all bolts on top tightened right down. It sounds like a light tapping and only evident over the most minor unevenness. anything that causes any...

Rear Suspension - 'knock'

I had replaced my rear struts about a year ago. One side has developed a bit of a knock or rattle type noise over uneven surfaces. I looked it over well and can replicate the noise with the tire off,...

Re: P0122 - TPS low voltage

Bump from the dead....

The TPS sensor its self is new and re-calibrated .5 closed, 4.5 open, good 5 v reference. The issues appears to be in the wiring forward of the sensor or the ECU. I'm unsure...

Re: clutch squeal

The groan is usually from lack of lubrication on the clutch fork pivot or where the slave cylinder contacts the clutch fork. You can lube the clutch fork easily by pulling back the boot and adding...

Re: P0122 - TPS low voltage

FYI: I pulled the connector to the TPS. Drivability and power have increased but CEL on all the time of course. I believe the problem to be grounding related.

I am starting to think the best...

Re: P0122 - TPS low voltage

Yes, I've used a scan tool to 'reflash' the ECU after new TPS.
Where does one start to solve this problem? Do I simply unwrap the wires in the harness and trace them back looking for corrosion and...

Hooked up the OBD2 scanner last night and found no trouble codes. ECU appeared to be totally normal with no communication issues or anything terribly out of whack.

All sensors seemed...

Re: Jerk on Deceleration

I'll re-try the idle relearn and hope for the best.

Ya I'm at a loss as well... Would take it to a pro but I feel like they would just give me a run around with this ridiculous problem...
