yes i am, to refine #3: i guess i'm asking if once i upgrade to 0 gauge, is it still beneficial to have a ground wire kit? if the engine already has a 0 gauge ground wire on it?

no, H.I.Ds are built for a 12v input from a car only.

Other than price, is there a difference between volt HID kits and Element 54?
