i really think this was a great learning experience of what to do and not to do next time.

My problem is i am so hard headed. I have to do things wrong the first time to do it right the next time.

i think my biggest mistake was using the epoxy primer. If i could start all over again i would use something different, something thinner.

It came out so think it was hard to sand flat. Not really...

color then 2 thin coats of clear. I added 2 more coats of clear. Ill take some better pics tommorow.

1.8mm tip, tech sheet said 40 to 45 psi and i was at 40. dunno...

i wont really know til i start spraying the color. Im not sure if my primer issue was mixing related or gun related. It seemed a bit dry when it hit the car.

I can tell you this epoxy primer is no...

4 parts primer to 1 part hardener at 40 psi.

Weird, but i was able to wet sand it smooth.

Primer started off a bit rough. For some reason the mixture was a bit gritty. Wet sanding it smooth today.

Unfortunately due to food poisoning, i wasnt able to start painting yesterday.

I was able to remove front bumper and mount lip, remove sideskirts, and tape everything off.

yeah 3-4 coats of primer. Ill see how the first coat goes down and go from there. I'm not gonna half ass this. If something looks off, ill stop, and start over again.

tech sheets told me 220 up to 320...wrong?
