ok so i pulled the battery and ecu. put it all back together and now its doing it. tried to jump the diagnostic plug and the CEL just stays on, no main relay clicking. its like there is no connection...

oh crap my bad man. i meant to locate an engine miss. when i pull the wire and it doesnt change the way the motor sounds type of the thing. this distributor is ok. i replaced the coil around a year...

ok so when the engine runs, there is no CEL. i was hoping that the ecu stores past codes. so i put the paper clip jumper in the port and the CEL just stayed on...'

also, i just did a "k-test" and i wasnt sure which wire for the clip to the MAP sensor so i di the two end ones, im getting 3.something on one and almost 5 on the other

Ok I got it in the garage finally. It primed. But I don't understand how virtually no movement will complete the circuit. I tried it again and it kicked on within a minute. This is ridiculous :(
