Just for information, i had similar issue few months ago, sometimes high idle (1800 rpm) and sometimes searching idle. I fixed that by adjusting the throttle puley screw.

The problem looks like it has been fixed.

It was that small screw that stops the throttle pulley. I just gave it few more milimeters to return back and it's got its normal idle.

By the way, I removed the IACV and found it very clean (i had cleaned it three months ago)
So I'm thinking that CEL is not related to IACV.

Before, it was leaking from steering gearbox at the joint where it meets the steering column. No leakage...

The car runs fine. I get a CEL when I checked it it was code 23. Based on the information on one of the threads on this forum, it is a Knock Sensor circuit failure, which is normal.

I cleaned the IACV again, did an idle relearn as described above, and the car runs just fine now.
During the relearn process when I let it idle for about 10 minutes, the rpm was going up and down...
