Re: Spark plug replacement

I just changed the plugs in my '03 V6 @75k. I bought the NGK Iridium plugs that were specified by my ALLDATA program, and they cost about $10 apiece. Very easy job, just one bolt to remove the coils...

Re: F/S '92 - '00 Civic parts.

Do you still have an AC block off plate? Is it confirmed that it will fit a '96? I totally need that. If you sold yours, do you know where I could find one? is that a genuine honda part?

Icon2 Camshaft change, also rockers/lifters?

I am currently at odds with two different mechanics from different generations about my current project on a 1996 Accord LX with an F22B2. After having a timing belt breakage, I bent four exhaust...

Re: 1996 Accord F22B2 camshaft

would the cam from an F22A1 work? that's a non-VTEC, and is the engine the aforementioned Ebay cam was pulled from.

1996 Accord F22B2 camshaft

I am in need of a new camshaft for my F22B2 engine. After installing a new timing belt, the bolt on the cam sprocket walked its way out, followed by the woodruff key, and I bent some valves. Had the...

Re: Best shoes for driving a manual car

I love driving in my Chuck Taylors. They're thin, flat, and sticky. Not to mention totally stylish.

Re: HELP!! b16 ek axle comes out

something is exerting outward force on the axle, or the splines in the trans are worn. Check your ball joints and tie rod ends for play. If it's common that the 4th gear shift causes it, then that...

Re: Need Help Asap...Axle stuck in s4c B16 trans, OBX LSD

I assume you mean the driver's side axle is not coming out, right? I'm a little confused by the post. The driver's side has a center support bearing on it, and over time it gets really stuck in the...

Re: lower ball joint

I really like the MOOGs. They have better boot design than oem. If you do MOOG tie rod ends, they're greaseable, which is nice too.

Re: No power to ECU

sorry, you already did. When I blew my ECU, that's what it would do, just crank all day, and eventually flooded. open it up and smell it. If it's burnt, you'll know.

Re: No power to ECU

maybe you have a short in the wiring for the cluster, and you popped a fuse? You might have connected two wires in error and you're sending power to the wrong place. Check some fuses.

Re: Lil Things That make Big Differences

I took a razorblade and trimmed off the little rubber edge of the chrome trim under the windows on my sedan. It was all cracked and jagged, and now it looks great again. Just a half hour of my time,...

Re: Del Sol: Whats in the hump??

This thread makes me wish I had a Del Sol. I'd kill for targa and power rear window, cargo nets and shit. Awesome. Shitty cupholders aside, totally sweet. The best thing about them: no room for child...

Re: Fuel mileage questio (WAY too good)

Driving through central wisconsin, you might have found 100% pure gasoling, containing no ethanol. There was a gas station on the Illinois State University campus that carried that stuff, and I...

Re: Lil Things That make Big Differences

Installed blue neon tubes under the dash, ran them to a toggle. It's a nice effect at night, gentle floor lighting, pretty cool and cheap. Installed tweeters too, makes a huge difference in your...

Re: Question about sir lip install

The U-clips go on the slots on the bumper cover, they should fit snugly. Then there should be little indentations on the bumper that are a guide for the screws to mount it at the edges.

Re: harness help

your door locks and windows will still work no matter what. I didn't change any of the floor or door wiring in my sedan when I swapped it, and everything works. That all comes from the fusebox, so...

Re: Need some help!

yeah, since you did the engine harness, do the dash harness too. The Si harness has the wiring for the secondary O2 sensor on it, so you can swap the exhaust too. since you have both cars, and the...

Re: Need some help!

I actually was able to start and drive the car with only the two plugs in the ECU before I swapped my dash harness, though. It didn't run well, VTEC didn't work, none of my gauges worked, but it...

Re: Need some help!

the harness is different. You're gonna need to swap out the dash harnesses, or the entire dash, or run a jumper harness. If you're using the DX dash harness with the B16 engine harness, then you'll...

Re: Main relay is clicking

the main relay is supposed to click, once when you turn the key on, once when the fuel pump is done priming, and once when you start it. if it won't turn over, I'd check the battery or the starter.

Re: 2000 em1 alternator/speed senser fuse

It definitely could be the 02 wiring. If it's grounding out on the exhaust, they will pop that fuse, because although it isn't labeled on the fuse diagram, the O2 sensors get power from that circuit...

Re: b16 revs to 7200?

are you still using the stock cluster that was in the car with the previous motor? If so, the markings are probably different, and it's just not reading accurately. The position of 7200 RPM on the...

Re: Energy Suspension mount inserts question

The vibrations were only intolerable at idle. When I was cruising, I would hardly notice a difference. I just hated everything rattling and shaking when I sat at a stop light. I liked the way the car...
