paint strippng whells and valve cover

just wondering if anyone can give me a thumbs up or not on using some king of paint stripper on the valve cover while its still on the motor. good idea or bad idea? the wheels should be easy...

I would definitely go for the 92 ex cluster rather than the lx. Would you go any lower on it? Also, how does this whole thing work? I've never done this kind of deal before but I do have a paypal....

I should have something in my arsenal to replace a pin if needed. I just hope the bushing's aren't bad. Don't feel like dealing with them AT ALL

So I recently purchased a 95 ej1 with a b16a2 swap. Only paid 2K and love the car so far. No problems except my driver is kinda saggy when I open it. Is there any way to fix this? I really don't want...

Thanks a lot! I kinda felt left hanging to dry on this on. Is changing the steering a difficult task? Also what kind of non PS rack would I be looking for? Thanks again for all the help!

Thanks for the response, but I've changed my mind. No PS it is. The Wifey will just have to suck it up. Its really not that bad without it. This thread can be terminated!

Power Steering still possible?

Starting off. I own a 95 civic w/ a B16A2 swap. Shortly after buying the car and realizing it had no power steering pump on it, I decided to get rid of the big ugly cord that comes from the firewall...

One more thing........Ha Ha. Is there any way I can fond out how many miles are on the motor? There are over 200k on the body. Needs some body work, it has Honda cancer :(

Also is there any way I can run an open velocity stack on it without having to worry about anything getting in my motor? Or should I keep a filter on it?

And I'm not bothered by the "two step" so I'll probably just leave that alone. Thanks for the advice on that aspect though.

Where at on the block is the year located? All I've seen is the engine type engraved in the block. Also what parts should I remove if I'm not going to run power steering (which I"m not). I have taken...

I thought you could collect harmful debris in your motor running without soem kind of filter though? On a short ram intake of course.

Not sure what OBD I'm running. How would I find something like that out? Alos, not sure if the launch control is thru the ecu or stand alone. Any way you could tell me how to find that out too?

BTW 2 grand was a GREAT price for the car, but.....I did have to fix a few thing's in order for it to be totally reliable. Still needs an oil pan.

Payed 2 grand for it and did check all the fuses. Had some in the wrong spots but i fixed them and put all the correct fuses where they should be. So I know it's not the fuses. What is the dimmer...
