Re: Mfactory 4.64

Yeah, other than a block saver, it's pretty much a stock block and head. But the f23 has a strong bottom end. Huge main bearing girdle and capscrew rods! I have about 30,000 miles on this build.

Re: H22 Euro R intake

Unfortunately, I didn't dyno the car previously, and I'm getting it street tuned on Thursday by SQC. I'll only have butt dyno results 😁

Re: 1998 Prelude h22 Auto to 5 Speed question!

You'll need to drill holes in the firewall for the clutch master cylinder. There isn't a plate as on other models.

Re: would other eg or ek seats fit my del sol?

Prelude BB4 seats pretty much bolt right in with modding one bolt hole.

Re: Auto JDM GSR ECU

The gsr automatic ecu does not support a separate tcu. The shift, tc controls, and speed sensors are wired directly into the ecu's 4th plug. My daughter has a DelSol with a gsr automatic swap and...

Re: car wont turn over with f20b pcb ecu

Did they leave the injector resistor in place? If they did leave the resistor, only 7 volts will be applied to the injectors. The F20b injectors need 12 volts to energize.

Re: planning a H22 swap in Accord

Im pretty sure its the other way around. The H23 Bluetop uses an H22 head and a 2.3 block. Hmotorsonline has them for $999. Plus they also have OBD2 ECUs for them!

Re: egr solenoid questions

There should be 12v at the black/yellow wire with the key in the on/run position. The other wire is the signal wire that goes directly to the ECU. When the ECU wants to open the EGR valve, it will...

Re: egr solenoid questions

The car should die out or almost when you backprobe the frequency solenoid and apply a ground to the red wire.

Re: Does a 98 have a EGR port system like a 96..

Usually the ECU will detect it and trip a DTC P0401

Re: Does a 98 have a EGR port system like a 96..

Is ia a 2.3 or a 3.0? The only way to clean out the egr system effectively on a 2.3 is to remove the upper manifold plenum. Once removed, you can access the egr ports. The F23a1 egr system also plugs...

Re: what is better h22 or f20 in 2000 honda accord ex

I recently swapped in an F20b in a 98 accord for a customer. The original f23a1 seemed to pull harder in the lower rpm range than the bluetop. For the money he spent, He would have been happier with...

Re: f23 long block, k20 pistons,delta 272 grind

Have fun tearing it up! Your going to love the torque. Maybe you can be the first guy to actually see how high this engine will rev. 8000? more?

Re: f23 long block, k20 pistons,delta 272 grind

Honda designs an offset pin for longevity and a quieter engine. If the offset is backwards, there will be stress on the skirts and piston walls. And, premature wear. I have backwards K20a3 pistons in...

Re: what is better h22 or f20 in 2000 honda accord ex

Other than the cost,Which is about a hundred dollar difference, why do you think the F20b is better than the H22?

Re: tranny swap

The M2S4 (USDM Prelude H23) is a good all around choice. Or the JDM M2A4 (Prelude H22) has a longer 5th gear for freeway speeds. Youll be happy with either and the prices are reasonable. T2W4 is...

Re: 2000 honda accord 2.3l f23

WTF? The f20b swap is essentially the same swap as an H22! And H22s dont have less torque than the 2.2 or 2.3.

Re: f23 long block, k20 pistons,delta 272 grind

You wont notice any vibration issues with the belt off. Its good for at least 3 hp removed, less rotating mass.
