I dont think those 2 guys work on hondas.
The slot is off center, so you would have to use a sledge hammer and a full swing to get it in there the wrong way. HE IS NOT REBUILDING THE ENGINE.the gear...

new one might be bad.. or you are replacing a good part with a good part and the real problem is somewhere else

when i installed mine there is a spot or two that i needed to grind out the plastic to allow movement. there are some great install how to's that i followed.

wow be careful, your about to get a fire.

I guess i would pull all fuses and see which circuit it is that makes it super hot.

my dizzy started failing on me and it would studder / shake the whole car. Finally failed and left me stranded on the side of the road.

Also check the main relay

if that's what it looked like when you pulled it out of your car, every other component will need to be replaced too.
Does the title say water damage? That really looks like the car was underwater.

distributor ground screw

So I have to replace my distributor and I have always noticed the little ground strap connection .. Does anyone hook that up?

that looks ok.. the lighting makes it look like a deep grove. i can only think that its the clutch pedal/cable.. thats let letting out the clutch all the way

No, never coast in neutral.. thats bad advice. you always downshift. keeping high revs and no gas pedal will turn the injectors off.. meaning no gas used. coasting in neutral will use gas.

winter makes your mpg go down.. even rain makes it go down.
165 tires will greatly help mpg
learning to drive while in lean mode
