Yep I started the car, let it run a few seconds and shut it off, then checked the oil level after I replaced the filter, ended up adding as you said about half a quart.

Live and learn. Next time...

thanks for all the suggestions.

I tightened down the oil drain plug a tad more over the 33lb spec and it seems to have stopped leaking there.

Also checked the old filter and the gasket is...

There are mp3 CD players, and mp3 players that are standalone devices such as an ipod. its a very simple concept.

mp3 CD player yes, just get a sony cassette converter. mp3 ipod or other device? I don't believe so.

could just spend $100 or so on a deck that will have a connector for either a usb stick or aux...
