Bump for a Michigander. Gotta love Michigan Car Laws, Especially the lack of inspection! Do you work for IAA?

Re: Is this a good deal? (Nevalite)

Have your own mechanic check it out first, I just got left by the side of the road for a day and had to shell out a lot of cash because my $900 civic took a shit on me.

Re: HELP! I'M IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE! (Natural Aspirations)

I'm in Warfordsburg PA, just north of the Maryland border. I'm going to point the mechanic toward the dizzy tomorrow. If it was just the rotor how long would that take to replace?

Re: good deal? (patrickstar)

Very much so, and with a 1.5" drop you won't run into any problems. The Illuminas are great, all you need is a screwdriver to adjust them takes like 5 secs. Put em on soft for driving around town...

Re: good deal? (patrickstar)

If they're gr2s then thats a terrible deal, you can get 4 gr2s new for $160-170. Honestly I wouldn't put used shocks in my car, I just installed a set of Tokico Illuminas, they're awesome. Save up...

Re: good deal? (patrickstar)

What kind of KYB's? Any reason why you need coilovers as opposed to lowering springs? Unless you're planning on changing your ride height every now and then you'd do better to buy a new set of...

Re: lowering springs (MIGPA26)

Are you looking for comfort or performance? I would suggest Tokico Illuminas for the struts, they're easily adjustable (like 10 sec) so you can have both. How much do you want to lower the car? An...
