UPDATE:
i recieved my remote today in mail. WOW!! super fast shipping from ebay.
remote works great. programming (in a nutshell) is easy.
basically sit in car with doors shut, turn ignition to ON...

thank you Tlarimer. i found one on ebay for only $24. my module FCC ID: A269ZUA123, the remote on ebay is A269ZUA106, so i assume that will work. and it says it comes with programming instructions so...

hello. i have a 00 Civic LX with factory power door locks. i bought car used and it didn't come with a keyless entry remote or anything but i sure would love to have one just for the convience of it....

thanks. i will give the tps a try first and if that doesn't work i will try to switch out fuel injectors.
