The only thing with doing that is your putting stress on the manifold bolts I would be careful doing it without heat. I know how it is to want it done yesterday so you try other ways but be careful...

Don't get it so hot it melts if you use a cutting torch don't hit the oxygen so it cuts. Keep it close so you don't get any lines

Make sure to put the jack and 2x4 on the flange with the flex pipe and heat it from the bend and a few inches towards the flange so it will be re bending the original bend

Yeah it would work I've done it on a few cars. I just used a torch to hear it up till it glows orange jack it up a pump or two heat it again and another few pumps. Always go a little higher then...

Stick a 2x4 and a jack under it. Heat it up a until it glows then slowly jack it up

I've had a few s10s and my last 4.3 had 195,xxx miles and it's still starts and drives to this day (sold it to my aunt) the only issue was no reverse

I've got BFG all terrains on my 95 s10 blazer and it will not get stuck in the snow. I absolutely love them. I've never had them on anything other then that tho

Sounds elementary but check your lug nuts. I had that happen with my integra and I couldnt figure it out thought it was an axel. Turns out my left rear wheel was lose. Broke a stud, lost 2 lug nuts...
