Re: I need heat!!! (It's cold fam)
I might have to try a flush as replacing the whole heater core is just not gonna happen for me. I’m wondering if the previous owner used some type of radiator stop leak or something. I remember...

The fan works perfect at all speeds. I think there’s a flap before and after the core to direct heat through it or divert it completely.

Re: I need heat!!! (It's cold fam)
I pulled it apart and cleaned out a bunch of pine needles and leaves. While it was open, I moved the temp control lever back and forth and the flapper inside was working as it should.

Re: I need heat!!! (It's cold fam)
If I put some type of radiator flush in, would that be enough to flush my heater core and dissolve any buildup?
I feel like it must be partially clogged.

Re: I need heat!!! (It's cold fam)
Back from the dead. I’m still stumped on this issue.
I drove the car for about 2 hours today (about 40 degrees out) and only managed luke warm air at best.
When I got home, I felt both hoses...

Re: I need heat!!! (It's cold fam)
Yeah, when I dropped that portion I could see the core. I could move the flap back and forth using the lever without issue too, so I know it was not stuck. Some debris around the core but not much,...

I'm all out of ideas.... Maybe an issue with the heater core, since that's the only thing I haven't replaced. How hot should the hoses...

Re: 95 civic DX (very little heat from heater)
The inlet and outlet on the heater core are hot, so I'm pretty sure there's no blockage. But, I'll try flushing it to see if it helps.

Re: 92-95 civic fuel filter differences??
They were different. Fuel lines on the 92-94 filter are side by side. Fuel lines on the 95 are top and bottom.

95 civic DX (very little heat from heater)

I recently picked up a 95 civic DX. It runs great but, I'm having an issue with the heater.
It only blows out luke-warm air, not hot.
Things I've done:
Adjusted heater valve...

92-95 civic fuel filter differences??
So, I just ordered a fuel filter from Inline4. Says it fits all civics 92-95.
Well, that's definitely not the case...
I was under the impression all 92-95 civic fuel filters were the same.
But,...

Re: Time Sert thread repair kit
It's a 94 ex w/ a D15B8 motor swap. Honestly, it looks like the oil-pan was swapped so I'm not sure if it's steel or aluminum.
I'll stick a magnet on it later to find out. lol
I just need it to...
