Re: I need heat!!! (It's cold fam)

Re: I need heat!!! (It's cold fam)

If I put some type of radiator flush in, would that be enough to flush my heater core and dissolve any buildup?
I feel like it must be partially clogged.

Re: I need heat!!! (It's cold fam)

Back from the dead. I’m still stumped on this issue.

I drove the car for about 2 hours today (about 40 degrees out) and only managed luke warm air at best.
When I got home, I felt both hoses...

Re: I need heat!!! (It's cold fam)

Yeah, when I dropped that portion I could see the core. I could move the flap back and forth using the lever without issue too, so I know it was not stuck. Some debris around the core but not much,...

Yep, still just getting lukewarm air.... No improvement.

I'm all out of ideas.... Maybe an issue with the heater core, since that's the only thing I haven't replaced. How hot should the hoses...

I dropped that portion down and cleaned out some more crap, not really much in there though.
The little flap looks to be working fine too.

I'll be...

Dropped the...

Re: 95 civic DX (very little heat from heater)

The inlet and outlet on the heater core are hot, so I'm pretty sure there's no blockage. But, I'll try flushing it to see if it helps.

Brand new OEM thermostat, I just installed it. Seems to be...

Re: 92-95 civic fuel filter differences??

They were different. Fuel lines on the 92-94 filter are side by side. Fuel lines on the 95 are top and bottom.

Re: Time Sert thread repair kit

It's a 94 ex w/ a D15B8 motor swap. Honestly, it looks like the oil-pan was swapped so I'm not sure if it's steel or aluminum.
I'll stick a magnet on it later to find out. lol

I just need it to...
