It automatically comes on every 7500 miles I think... turn your ignition off, reach under the steering column under the dash to the right is a little square, green button, turn your ignition to on...

yea thats exactly what I was thinking... only thing is, it didn't do that when I first got the car, it just started it after I replaced the fuel filter. I have been avg 35mpg so I think the fp is ok...

and its not a vibration its an electric pump sound... I just wonder if the fuel pump is priming late or its worn out???

it started it after i replaced the fuel filter, i checked the banjo bolt to make sure I aligned the marks right and it is exactly right so I have no clue...

Man... that is EXACTLY what my teg is doing... I posted a thread about 5minutes ago the "hummimg" one, the cellphone vibrating is a better description. I swear I think it is something with the fuel...

That is a thin skim of filler to smooth out over the welds where he welded a new quarter in the car instead of packing in bondo, thats the only way to keep a wave out of a properly repaired quarter. ...

yeah i think the Y8 has slightly smaller combustion chambers, but like I said the valvetrain is a whole other animal...

double check your fuel filter, sometimes during the change out if the lines weren't purged any crap that was in the line can immediately clog the new filter. Spark Plugs gapped correctly? check...
