It ended up being the fan motor. A replacement was available at the local autoparts place. After an hour or so of tinkering, it was good to go.

I recently replaced both drive shafts (1/2 shafts) on My 94 accord. It really wasn't a bad job at all. Next is a full bushing replacement. And the boots on my steering rack are shot as well.
