SlowCivic2k, thanks for the response...so how do I get the fluid out of the torque converter? Do I need special tools to do it myself, or am I stuck taking it into a mechanic?

Angele, did you perform the fluid drain yourself, and if so, is it hard? Will pulling the drain plug allow ALL the fluid to drain out? Some call this draining, others call it flushing...what is the...
