question on exact duplicate rebuild and tune

can motor be driven on current tune safely , AF stays lower than 13 majority of the time.. however the block was replaced. new rings, new rod and main bearings, head was given a makeover on the valve...

no oil on either side of turbo, took head into machine shop today, advised i do need a complete valve job.. he also explained to me the differences in oils here in cali, i guess there has been...

no smoking at idle... i saw it puff once or twice on a startup, very little....could have been water vapor....

no oil in charge pipe....

trying to get an idea of what a bad valve guide may look like in its begginning stages... running built gsr head.. replaced the valves and valve seals, NOT the valve guides yet....

Lsvtec Turbo stock bottom end brand new machined parts
12psi
25k miles on build

Starting to smoke on deceleration only from high. Rpm.

Leak down test was less than 10% maybe 8% at...

Well seems to be off, advanced the timing 100% towards firewall on dizzy, car runs almost 100% now

Just had timing belt done , shop advises timing is good.

From a stop the car has no power until I ride it to 2k then the power is there like normal.
It will slowly putt to 2k pissing people off...

is it possible that the valve has just enough play to cause damage or crack the valve stem seal and let oil by when it gets hot?

it gets really sluggish when its hot outside... it also depends on if you got it tuned when it was cold, or when it was hot outside... i dont run my car hard when it is really hot out... seems to...

everything has been machined, block, pistons, rods, crank, head.
here is a catch
replaced valve stem seals on rebuild of head, did not replace valve guides....

turbo...
