Re: Temperature slider seized up - where to find replacement cable?

Are you certain that it is the cable and not the actual water control valve? It could be the valve or a lubrication problem since it still works, just difficult to actuate.

Re: Bad torque steer with new wide tires

I went and had my alignment checked today and oddly the rear toe was out quite a bit. Odd especially since I had an alignment about a month ago. Anyway, the car is tracking so much better now under...

Re: Bad torque steer with new wide tires

I haven't had the alignment checked since putting the new wheels and tires on. Are there ways to help compensate for the scrub radius change?

Bad torque steer with new wide tires

Just this week I purchased new wheels (15x8 +20) and tires (245-40-15 Rival S1s) for my 500whp h22 turbo prelude. Previously I was running 15x6.5 wheels and 225-50-15 much less sticky tires. The...

Re: Camber and pulling issue

Update: I swapped the front tires and the pull moved to the opposite direction....pulling left now. Guess it is time for some new tires which I have been looking to buy anyway.

Re: Camber and pulling issue

This will be hard to do since they are directional tires. I do have another set of tires and rims around that I'll put on and see if the car pulls the same with those.

Re: Camber and pulling issue

Shocks are not leaking and have about 30k miles on them. The rack does have a very slow leak, maybe a tablespoon a year, that is evident by PS fluid on the bellows. I'm wondering if the colder...

Re: Camber and pulling issue

I noticed this morning that the pull was worse than ever. It is the first cold morning of the year, about 25f where I live. Does this exaggerated pull at cold temperatures suggest the steering rack...

Re: AFR at idle issue

Do you have either a narrow band or wide band oxygen sensor installed? I would recommend using the Closed Loop parameters for AFR control as opposed to fuel tables.

Re: Hondata Traction Control Help - H23 VTEC Turbo 400whp

Wow, how'd you learn about this "glitch"? I wonder if Hondata knows about it and plans to fix it. I'll fix my BBG table as you suggest and see if that fixes the issue, thanks! I've recently gotten...

Re: Hondata Traction Control Help - H23 VTEC Turbo 400whp

Unfortunately honda-tech.com will not allow the uploading of the hondata type file extensions so that is why I put them in *.zip folders. My BBG is setup for 0% duty in 1st gear which if I turn TC...

Re: Hondata Traction Control Help - H23 VTEC Turbo 400whp

I have quick spool disabled. The over boost in 1st gear only happens when TC is enabled so I think it's caused by retarded timing. RPM is increasing so fast in 1st that I think it over boosts before...

Quite possibly the o-ring that seals the oil cooler against the block has failed.
