its not hitting the exhaust. I tried also pushing it out of gear while driving didnt reduce the noise till it disengaged from the gear. Pushing the shifter in would make several louder hissing noises

the bushing at the end of the rod was loose. I didnt have another bushing on hand so we just wraped ductape a few turns on it to make it thicker so it doesnt...

I just tried it.
If i am driving on 2nd at 40km/h then I hit the clutch and RPM goes down (still in 2nd gear) noise goes away. I let it engage by release the clutch and noise is back !

I haven't tried pushing it IN. I tried pushing it a bit out and it didnt help. I'll try that after work in a few hours.

When we install the short shifter we bent the exhaust hangers enough so i can push the shifter and still have clearance. I've also tried pushing it down while driving its not touching.

Got a honda filter with castrol gtx 5-30w.
I lifted my car, removed the oil plug, and stupid thing flew into the oil pan with oil...lol took it out...
