Re: The Official EF Discussion Thread

Replacing all the bushings on a 20+ year old car will make a huge difference! Trust me! Where is everybody? I'm out of the loop. Is HT not cool anymore?

You need new plates. Maybe HDA TOWR? Or HNDA TWR?

Re: The Official EF Discussion Thread

My suspension is a mixed bag of mostly new OEM bushings and some bearings (sway bar, front x-member). I'll eventually switch to bearings, but if anyone is looking for a quick improvement at a good...

Where is Tyson these days? Anyone remember him? Always yelling at guys for saying 40/40 instead of 4040.

Re: The Official EF Discussion Thread

If set up properly, the J's wing would most definitely be beneficial.

Re: The Official EF Discussion Thread

The point of the wing is to handle downforce...potentially well over 100 lbs of downforce. When I hear you guys saying "lightweight," that doesn't necessarily mean better. You need something...

Re: The Official EF Discussion Thread

Ha! Agreed. But I think there is a point of diminishing returns with these cars...at least in my opinion. I'll always keep my CRX and coupe, but as soon as my truck is paid off, it's time to build...

Re: The Official EF Discussion Thread

I never rolled the rears on my CRX and have been fine with 15x7's (+35) with 205 Nitto NT01s. It depends on your alignment specs, but you might be okay. I run -2.8 in the rear. No rubbing at all.

My tow strap. Purchased from IOPort Racing. It's bolted to one of the big 17mm front x-member bolts on the bottom side.

Re: The Official EF Discussion Thread

No temp readings, but pressures are 20-25 idle and 75-80 WOT. Watch your pressures in the turns as well. Catch cans and 20/50 oil can assist if you already have a baffled pan.

No idea on my...
