And when I said the brakes have a vacuum sound when pressed, I mean very slightly like a short and very quiet whoosh sound for a split second when the brake pedal...

Wait, are you saying that anyone with a DX with no tach can just replace the gauges with another set from a higher-trim civic which has a tach and the tach will fully operate in the DX?
