Your issues are very common and Minor with the exception of the Hood latching problem...however the car is 8 years old and you have to expect some issues are going to come up.

If horsepower per dollar is what you care about then just get yourself one of these, they are often going for around 3,999$ at your local used car lot, that gets you 225hp!..so that's $17.77 per...

The parking garage at my wife's office has from 12-16 Porsches in it on any given day..when she drives My NSX to work there is usualy only 1 NSX there (sometimes 2)...

I would never say you couldn't get mucho power from a K24 ...obviously you can..however we are back to the cost issue...I just don't see how you can build more power for less money if you include the...

Well that's very nice that they can risk people's lives by racing on the street.

One race is not enough to make the time and money worthwhile..I have clients that have been running Supercharged...

that's my whole point about getting the power out of a K24 for reasonable money...the motor is not designed for mega TQ and thats what gets your wheels turning...you would have to spend serious money...

Those Dyno charts say exactly what I have been saying...the std turbo set up has numbers that are compairable to a N/A C32 except for the C32 has a better TQ curve Look at the stock Turbo TQ curve...

I would be concerned about the reliability of a K24 running 14psi on stock internals....and if you did put in forged low comp pistons you would surely spend some real money to build the motor..so...

Yes the C30 is Vtec but the Vtec engagement is barely noticeable which in my opinion is how it should be.

The idea of the swap was to build a motor that was lighter and less expensive to work...
