Had a good time at NOPI, wasn't like the old nationals but its a good start. Spoke to the guy from Import Muscle and very interested in the LS1 swap. Gotta start saving so oneday I can do the swap....

Went to Sav. Tire, didn't see Pete. Spoke to a lady and got quoted. 149+tax. Included mounting 2 tires. Ended up at Goodyear spending alittle less than $100.

Some pics I have from wetsanding it. Still have to finish bufing and wax it.

Sanded with 3M soft foam pad with 800,1000,1200 ,1500 then came back with 3000 trizact with foam backing pack on a DA....

Resanded with 600, then washed with a grey scuff pad with Scuff stuff. Turned out really well.

I am not sure what compressor size I used as its a friends shop I used. As far as the gun goes, I used my Devilbiss primer gun w/1.8 tip and a Sata 3000 RP 1.3 for everything else. I am using 3M's...

Was easy, just hit it with 600 on a foam pad and went to town. Got alittle carried away with the clear this time, 4 coats of clear was used. Already wetsanded and buffed it over the weekend. Couldn't...

I would usually remove the mirrors but it was such a PITA to remove from the S. Had no problems painting with them on the car.

I then wiped the dings with filler. I used Evercoat Rage and Easy sand. Sands with very little effort and without pinholes.
