Re: Twin disc-B Series

If you plan on any street driving the ACT is not the way to go. Harsh engagement is an understatement.

Re: i've painted myself into a corner... awd civic transmission problems...

I agree with double checking everything. We have Synchrotech carbon synchros in our CR-V trans and have had no troubles shifting 1-2 at 10k. It sounds like the sleeve could have gotten messed up if...

Re: need clutch advice for my awd converted hatch

We have had good luck with the ACT Maxx Extreme pressure plate and 6 puck sprung disc. It can be launched smoothly and can handle a decent amount of power.

Re: Element Transfer case gearing/ rear gearing

The CR-V trans has a 4.562 final drive then a .434 intermediate gear then a .904 transfer ratio then a 2.533 rear end ratio. So the front wheel final drive is at 4.562 while the rear adds up to...

Re: Element Transfer case gearing/ rear gearing

I my opinon RWD will not work well for you. We had our car RWD for a couple of days. It was very dangerous. It would spin our little 195 width tires at 100mph in 5th gear. Now if you go and put some...

Re: Element Transfer case gearing/ rear gearing

Your best bet is to run a wagovan viscous coupler and rear end. The CR-V rear end has a tiny ring and pinion and axle outputs. There is no room in the case to fit anything larger. As far as the rest...

Re: AWD CRX del Sol - CRV driveline swap

If you crunch all the numbers for the CR-V you have a 16-73(4.562 final drive), a 69-30 intermediate (.4347) a 21-19 transfer (.9047) a 15-38 rear end you have the rear at a 4.544 ratio and the front...
