Cams are S2S2 tuners. All the clearences in the block were well within factory specs, and yes the rings were orientated correctly. No leakdown or compression test yet. No smoke at idle...

I assembled the block, i had the head worked by a machine shop in Charlotte, he did new valve guides, PnP and put the new valves, springs and retainers in it.

That has nothing to do with the tensioner, the tensioner is on the timing belt. Sounds like someone didn't have the crank pulley bold in tight.

All motor...what seal are you talking about? As far as vacuum leaks...i don't know, but i'll check tomorrow, do you think it could be just a bad IACV?

BTW, how is your stroker motor holding up?...

Ok, i adjusted the valves and it fired right up. Now it just won't stay running and the timing belt is loose on the back side of the motor. How do i get it tight?

NO START ISSUE, have fuel, spark to all 4...timing is good

94 GSR, new plugs, wires, dizzy. Checked for spark to all 4 cyl, and have fuel to all 4 cyl. Only 1 & 3 are hot on header after cranking, 2 & 4 are still cold.

Please help. Any ideas?

I hope i can get to a dyno and get mine tuned shortly after i get the motor running. I also hope i can put down some decent numbers, i'm sure goin from a stock LS it's gonna be lots of fun to drive....
