i had a similar problem in a civic, which turned out to be the illumination wire was shorting out on the metal dashboard cage..are you blowing fuses?

used 5 speed transmission from a 1994 accord ex...bought to replace wahat i thought was a bad transmission in my sedan, but it turned out i just needed to replace the throwout bearing and shift fork...

yeah, but at least it was a cheap fix...i was really worried not really knowing the past of the car when i got it, and the motor is stamped with a different vin than the car...its all good now...

my car never threw any codes...but i did finally discover that the source of the leak was a bad egr valve gasket...i replaced it, reset the ecu, and voila, no more surge....thanks for the help, all...

i recently replaced the starter in my 1995 accord ex 5 speed with a new autozone one because the car was having bad no start issues...i would get in, step on the clutch and turn the key,...

cool, thanks...i ended up finding the fuse, and it was blown...i still need to replace the socket, as the bulb is still flashing really fast...one of the contacts is bad...thanks

if you want just a little bit of room, you can use v6 accord springs and struts in the front, and wagon struts and springs in the rear...i used these on my 1995 ex and got about 1.5" taller for...

i did finally get around to checking for leaks around the intake manifold gasket by spraying the area with carb cleaner, and when i sprayed near the vtec solenoid, the idle dropped....i tried filling...

pcv valve is new..working as it should..with the iacv wiring disconnected, it runs, but very poorly...it surges like im slamming the gas then letting off...i dont think the idle in my car has ever...

1995 accord ex, 2.2l vtec, 5 speed, 158k...the fitv was sucking in enough air to suck my finger into the port, so i checked it, and the thing was still clean as a whistle, and the wax plunger was all...

hey all, having the annoying idle surge problem, and after cleaning the egr system, fitv, and iacv, as well as checking for any obvious leaks, the problem went away for about a day, then returned...

ive "fixed" the same gaskets three times now...they always seem to leak again...i finally ended up using hondabond to make the gaskets, and leak free for 6 months now...
