The HF/STD spindles have a smaller spline count than the DX/SI spindles. B series axles utilize the larger spline count outboard joint and that is where the DX/SI knuckles come into play.

Did you buy the car in this condition? Has the car ever ran since the DPFI-MPFI conversion was done. Just wondering since that conversion involves wiring injectors(fuel) and distributor(spark).

Do you plan to stay obd0? If so, all you need is the corresponding obd0 distributor, injectors and ecu and you should be good to go. All should be plug and play. The car being an SI (mpfi) saved...

tech8...you are the man! I had a unattached wire coming out of G201 (white connector near the headlight). Thanks a lot for the useful information!

I had this issue before and blue (medium strength) Loctite worked for me. You could try the red (high strength) but you will have a good time trying to take it off when it does come time to change...

When you turn the key to the accessory position can you hear the main relay click and the fuel pump prime (should hear a buzz coming from the tank area). It's got to be something fuel related...
