Re: H23a turbo build.. s300 .no spark I’m stumped...helllp

I see several issues.
1) you do need to either A) use a crank sensor, or B) switch to OBD1 distributor with jumper harness
2) map sensor is definitely not reading right. What map sensor is...

I'm sending you a PM, my answer doesn't fully comply with forum rules because I'm not a paying site sponsor.

Re: Can’t get timing right

I really hope that car isn't tuned yet. If it is, you just made the entire tune totally worthless now by changing the cam gear setting.
You will need to have a professional degree the cam back to...

Re: 1997 honda accord se oil pump

what weight oil do you use? It could just be low quality oil, too low of viscosity oil, or you're not changing the oil/filter nearly as often as you should. Or the bearings are wearing out, and the...

Re: Air or Fuel upgrades first

the stock fuel rail is good to over 400hp. There is absolutely no need to replace that below 400hp unless you just want the cosmetic appearance. Same goes for the FPR.

You can replace the fuel...

NLGI #1 or #2 grease for CV joints on 400hp?

I run OEM axles on my turbo prelude, and I ran something over that knicked a boot. Got a new oem boot and clamps, just need to figure out which grease to use. I was recommended Amsoil Synthetic...

Re: Flywheel surfacing

Is the disc sprung or unsprung? If it's unsprung, nothing will get rid of that chatter; unsprung discs are NOT meant for street use, only wrinklewall drag slicks

Re: 2000 Honda prelude warped crankshaft ?

If the crank was bent, that engine would have grenaded almost instantly after revving it up.
maybe the timing belt is too loose, or piston to wall clearance is too big.

Re: Milled head please help

I have shaved over 0.070" off a b20a5 head before with great results. If you use stock cam gears though, you WILL need to enlarge the exhaust valve pockets in the pistons. This is because shaving the...

Re: motor mounts for 1989 prelude 2.0 si 4ws with jdm b20a

yes, the mounts are all the same for the b20 variants. B21 mounts are the ones that are slightly different. Buying new mounts might be hit or miss, as a lot of the ones you can get at parts stores...

Re: Valve stem seals help please

Just some random input here. I actually love how the 5g preludes ride when all original, and would totally rock a 5g for a daily driver. I don't own a 5g though, I own a turbo 3g for a toy, and have...

Re: Valve stem seals help please

actually, correct aftermarket does have different seals for intake and exhaust. and leaky seals do not mean worn out guides. these motors are quite old, and the oem seals do dry out and lose their...

Re: '89 Prelude Idle issue

Why do you keep saying "no o2 sensor"? The b20a5 is supposed to have TWO o2 sensors. And without them, it will not run correctly.

Re: 91 3rd gen prelude engine swap

only a few people have swapped K's into the 3g prelude.
pros: it's a K
cons: the oil pan sits several inches lower than the stock pan, unless you cut the hood and have the engine stick out of the...

Re: Ecu problems - HA Motorsport replacement

HA Motorsports ecu's are junk. I've been saying this for years. I repair ecu's quite regularly, and more than half of the ones I repair were bought from HA. This includes ecu's people attempted to...

Re: Timing always hitting TDC Mark

side note: rotating the distributor clockwise should retard the timing, and rotating counter-clockwise should advance the timing. You said turning the distributor towards the rear of the car brings...

Re: Turbo D16 in a prelude

I sure hope this is a joke.

If serious though, to answer the question; you need to change all the things. Everything. Literally everything. And nearly all of it will need to be custom made....

Re: P28 ecu will not prime fuel pump.

for starters, continuity does not refer to voltage, it refers to resistance.

But to answer the question you didn't ask: it sounds like you damaged some wiring somewhere when you put your interior...

Re: 91 prelude si vss

Yes, only one bolt holding the VSS in the trans. It's an odd bolt, where the 10mm head sticks up quite a bit above the actual mating surface. You'll need to remove the shift cables and shift cable...

Re: Anyone have H or B ATI damper in hand to get measurements for me?

No I never did get a response from them. Well, not a proper response. I made two attempts, and both times all they told me was "if you send us an oem damper, we can custom make one to match".
If...

Re: 1991 Honda Prelude no fuel pressure

That's originally a pink connector, and it's for an ABS wheel sensor. I'm not sure how it ended up on top of the fuel pump haha

Re: 1991 Honda Prelude no fuel pressure

If it won't crank with the key, you obviously have some electrical issues, which could be related. Check all the fuses in the fusebox under the hood and under the dash.
Does the ignition at least...
