Wow! Took it apart 3 months ago from the date listed lol. Machine shop took like 2months with my head FML AND SMH. Oh well...... It's finally running and pulls strong. I'll take it to the track...

All that work and u have to tear it apart again (head gasket)?
Now I'm scared and debating if I change mine since it's torn apart, haha. I would have to special order mine tho as my head bolts are...

Wasting no time and pulled the head and pistons out. Seems the valve stem seals were shot so will be replacing them with new ones. Didn't want to take any chances and removed the pistons to replace...

Like I said I got the distributor working by swapping all the Crv distributor guts into gsr distributor so that's not an issue any longer but thanks for your input

Not so good.

When I removed the stock engine noticed rear mount was broken and bought an after market mount at autozone (bad idea) as the holes don't even line up and drilled the hole bigger.

Motor looking nice and clean and installed today. Fixing a few last things tmr and can't wait to see if there is any difference with this swap

I like the TL Type S as well but I'm very happy with the aggressiveness of these cobras and pics don't do them justice

Yonakas all the way down front and rear.
Ek front uca
2 washers in the rear to bring it even with the fronts

When it comes to tires size it's all personal opinions and how low your car is and specs on your wheels. At that height I liked 215/50/17 better

I'm very impressed how the cobra wheels came out. Only issue is no one makes hub centric rings for this size. Custom ones will need to b made. Weight on Acura tl 17x8 roughly 23-24 pounds - weight on...

17x8 vs 17x9 same tires on both 215/45/17
Love the stretch and aggressiveness on the cobra wheels

Test fitting my new mustang cobra wheels 17x9 24 offset. Currently has 245/45/17 but will b installing either 215/50/17 or 215/45/17 not sure yet

Removed my turbo moroso oil pan today to replace with an OEM pan cuz turbo will have to wait and was very pleased to see crower rods. Pistons are either JE or Wiseco low compression. I wish I knew...

No complaints so far. I'm very glad I was able to get them when they were $500 shipped. Demand is high and prices have gone up!



On another note: installed EK Lip cut the sides and the middle

I got an eg brace on and ek front upper control arm which are shorter and will give u more negative camber

Cut my OEM seat bolt brackets and welded them on these beams to raise my seats. I'm 5'8.
