Have you had any trouble with your after market catalytic converter? Honda uses a 3 stage catalytic converter and I understand that the Odyssey is very picky about having an OE catalytic converter.

The thermostat and it's gasket should be around $10 at your local parts store. You'll have to drain about a quart may be two of your coolant. If you plan to re-use it be sure to use a clean bucket....

No cranking is a dead battery. In this case it sounds like the battery is drained because you drove to school on battery power. You drove on battery power because your alternator died.

You have a leaky valve cover gasket. A common problem with a simple solution. Your local parts store will have just what you need to stop the leak.

No load the engine revs and drops back to idle just fine. While accelerating the engine rpm hang within a few hundred revolutions of my shift point....

Head lights off or on, use your mulitmeter to check those wires for continuity with a good chassis/engine ground. One wire will show little or no resistance. This is the ground or 0VDC wire.

No ‘CEL’ illumination. I’ve used my OBD-II scan tool and I haven’t found a single code. This reinforces my findings that the idle air control circuit is good.
