I run a blue top bottom end but changed to h23a1 rods and type s pistons. With that combo the pistons stick out the block about 26 thousandths or close to that number i dont have my sheet in front of...

Yes the h23v rods are shorter than the non vtec rods. I currently am running a h23v block/crank with non vtec rods with type s pistons. Im using 2 layer hg which puts me around 12.7:1cr with factory...

I have a h2b swap in my dc2 chassis and i didnt have to beat in the frame rail. Although you might have to put a little dent in it where the altenator goes so the pulley bolt/nut will clear...I can...

We also have this "jig" setup with a flywheel on the back and starter, that way you can lube it up and see it in motion...I have pics and a video of that also ;)

They are, technically im using h23 non vtec rods since they are a hair longer than the h23v rods. The pistons just barely stick out the block. We had to bevel the edge so it wont hit the head and...

ported head, ported stock IM, 70mm tb, "pro2s"
