The main relay is bad. This problem occured mainly on the '90 - '93 models, but we're starting to see them on the 98+ Accords as well.

Why are you changing the fluid every other oil change. Transmission fluid requires replacing every two years or 24,000 miles.
Are you sure the transmission itself is bad? '90 to '93 Accords...

The ignition switch is bad. You don't have to replace the whole thing. Just the electrical portion that screws to the back of the key cylinder.

Just because the TCM doesn't have any obvious signs of being bad means that there isn't a problem.
Your car exhibits the 2 classic signs of a bad TCM.

Unfortunately, repairing them involves alot more than just replacing the burnt components. There are traces that have to be repaired as well as other components that need to be tested. If not done...

Unfortunately, a bad TCM doesn't always show signs of burning.
Your car however, is exhibiting the classic signs of a bad TCM.
I sell rebuilt TCMs at 1/5th the cost of a new one...
