Re: Tial F38 valve failure

I am using 93 low boost and 50/50 water meth for high boost.
What makes you think fuel has caused the valve failure?

Re: F23 Rebuild/Turbo Project

re: The Utility In Using a Turbo Blanket: Good or Bad?

The problem with turbo blanket is that it retains too much heat for road race application and also a bit after engine shutdown.
Best is to use some form of shield to deflect heat from sensitive...

Re: F20B GTX3070R VS GTX3076R VS GTX3576R

This is where you will have to test to form your own opinion.
The cold and hot housing options you can get through ATP makes it hard to beat.

Re: F20B GTX3070R VS GTX3076R VS GTX3576R

For your use, I would pick the GTX3071 with a 0.63 a/r.

Re: F23 Rebuild/Turbo Project

The pistons and rods are fragile on the F23. I used to run them stock block at 350whp but they don't last too long.

They only need to see small detonation at that power level to start spitting...

Re: Gringo's 946whp/630ftlbs T3 .82A/R PTE 6466 Dyno

Tony, no offense, but the way Racelogic TCS uses cylinder fuel cut is scary. You know like big power set up with water meth and or running extra (batch) injectors further upstream the intake. When...

Re: My B18C1 Engine Build/Assembly

Yes no gasket when you have something small machined this flat.

Re: Turbo-LS's Build/Rebuild Pics/Discussion

What fuel were you running on both engines?
Funny you said that since you know how I dislike high CR turbo engines as it narrows the tuning window a LOT.
