Sad to say that my original M/C has finally died after 10.5 years, an ACT clutch, and 223xxx miles or service and abuse...lol Now, the $100 dollar question is.....is it really worth the extra money...

Have the same problem. The hinge point on the regulator where it scissors becomes loose and the teeth from the reg tend to come away from the teeth on the motor. Will go up and down just fine but...

Reputable tranny repair shop in/around Long Island?

Like the topic states....Tranny started making strange rattling/grinding noises yesterday. I have my original Y8 tranny that 2nd gear is out of.....any help is appreciated.

Mine just snapped last night....luckily @ only 5-10 mph and 2 miles from my house. While driving the rest of the way home the coilover completely came out and ruined my tire from the car sitting on...

Ive been in this situation before....brings back bad memories. Just to clarify things cuz I suppose we all have different definitions of dumped. I do tuck the stock size steelies(185/65/14) a good...

The BQE is balls but I know the road well. A few of my boys live in Greenpoint and going out there isnt a prob. I just ride in 3rd and keep an out in case I have to swerve around an overexposed...

I guess when I hit the pulley it wedged itself between the axle and lower control arm and tore the boot to shit. I drove up to work(120 miles) with no issues.

I love my current ride height & wont change it for the world. What you are forgetting is that miscellaneous crank pulleys arent something you come across everyday. Im not complaining about scraping...

No sir....im willing to deal with the consequences of being dumped. Traversing crank pulleys isnt exactly a daily affair. Ive logged over 150K @ this height and I'm not gonna change now.

Agreed! Grease is staying as of right now, it was 20 degrees outside when I was doing it and grease removal wasnt too high on my list of to do's. Gotta do an oil change in a cpl of days in a nice...
