I'm not concerned with repairing the burned ecu it's that my car is bogging out with the new ecu
I've used the ecu in the past and it ran fine. Maybe I have to reset the timing?

That is what it's suppose to do. Depending on how long the flashes are on for and how long the pauses are inbetween, it could be one code or multiple codes. For instructions on how to figure out...
