that's the thing bout it. I have a b16a turbo hatch, the down pipe runs sits bout 1/2in away from a stock cx radiator, when i ran it just a little richer (for safety, no boggin), the temp would rise...

I had a similar problem.
How's your air/fuel ratio?
Does the temp rise when it idles? or only when driving?
Make sure your running good air/fuel, it can cause the heat to skyrocket.
