Re: Aftermarket Radio Problems

Might have a powered antenna and its not getting power. Most aftermarket radios have a 12v+ wire dedicated for power antenna.

Re: clunking noise coming from the front when starting to move from a complete stop

I'd check the engine torque mounts. They are under the frame rails on each side of the engine on the front.

Re: Torque wrench confusion

I concure on the harbor freight torque wrench. I read a torque wrench shootout done by Grassroots Motorsports. It was surprisingly accurate.

Re: High compression B20?

Then why are you in the crv forum? If you just want b20 there are plenty of places to get that.

Re: First Gen Honda Cr-V Suspension Bracing

I was trying to make a joke. If your car handles worse than stock your camber is retarded.

Re: First Gen Honda Cr-V Suspension Bracing

Why would you "want" more negative camber?

Re: question about crv suspension

I'd be really surprised if that accord isn't McPherson strut. If it is, then no, it has no chance of fitting.

Re: Any V's with EF rear spoiler fitted on?

I'm curious about the eg spoiler. I found one laying around in my pile of random parts I didn't know I had. I thought I remember seeing something about it here a while back.

Also, mid spoilers...

Re: First Gen Honda Cr-V Suspension Bracing

Wouldn't ek strut bars work? I have never looked into it, but I'd be really surprised if they didn't.

Re: *Official H/T OFFROAD/LIFTED CR-V thread!*

It is possible to have a spring so stiff that the shock can't control it. Hard to say if that was the case here, but it could be

Re: My Taffeta White AWD Autotragic RD1

Re: High compression B20?

What I said had nothing to do with bolting the engine and tranny together. It has everything to do with shifting it in the crv

Re: High compression B20?

The crv uses cables to shift, so without a good bit of work, you aren't using either of those

Re: Official H-T CRV thread!

It really wouldn't. Not without way too much effort. Bolt pattern and port spacing are different.

Re: Affordable 1st gen CRV coilovers maybe coming soon..

I'd be in if I wasn't pinching penny's on the salary of 2 aircraft mechanics. Yes, I have 2 identical jobs with 2 identical companies and still barely pay my bills.

Re: Official H-T CRV thread!

My original plan was to just put b20z pistons in it cause it's a b20b, but I got these for practically nothing. It will never see more than 200whp, should be a good matchup.

Re: Official H-T CRV thread!

I'm using a .48 a/r t3 turbine and RS machine pistons. Roughly 10.5:1, of course head resurfacing and block deck cleanup will change that slightly.

Re: 1st gen crv rear middle seat belt?

Fold the seat bottoms up and check there if you haven't yet. It would make no sense for someone to remove it. I'd think an ek center belt would work if you can't find a crv belt

Re: Official H-T CRV thread!

Picked up a b20 block yesterday. It's getting 10.5:1-ish compression, little head port cleanup, possibly cam regrind, and a small turbo for super quick spool. I want to be just under 200hp/200tq. I...

Re: integra trans in crv???

It probably won't work well if it does. I'm sure the gear ratios are different, making the shift points different. The crv ecu will be confused

Re: Official H-T CRV thread!

It would probably be $75 ignoring shipping.
