stealth alarm install question

someone was telling me that whatever alarm you get....it has to be wired into a certain wire on your ignition....so the theiefs just find that wire near your dash. He says it doesnt matter whether...

if the rotor is getting contact...then what do i look for? I'm going to try the grease test...but we used all the old equipment as well so I highly doubt the rotor is the problem.

I have completed the step by step instructions on the Dist. Cap/Rotor install. I also installed new spark plugs and wires.

so i had a 98 front end conversion done on my gsr. on the headlights, i have made both of the headlight assemblies even by looking at the level bubbels. however, at night my lights arent even close...
