I just picked up a 94 Integra Automatic and couldn't find a drain nut on the tranny housing. Is this trans a conventional drain and fill like most? If not how does one change the ATF?

the alternator on this car looks to be in a pretty tough to get to spot. im sure i can do it eventually but are there any tips or tidbits or any valuable knowledge abou fixing this

couple questions...what do i set the ohmmeter for? it has about 6 different ohm settings

also the secondary wiring terminals you refer to is where the little spring is right?

is the igniter connected to the bottom of the coil?

now if the coil doesnt check out the next step would be the igniter right? now if theyre both bad then what?

well the spring is in place and when i can get the dist apart ill get it tested

what part of that diagram is the igniter?

so i should still be able to got to the screw holding the rotor in with #5 in place

would a bad rotor make the car not start? i can see the contact point of the rotor and it doesnt look that bad....

but if it was a security system it shouldnt even crank right?

how do i test the ignition coil? i dont see a horn under the hood or any other signs of a security system...any other things to look...

This is a DX with nothing but air, I doubt it has an alarm.

There were no electrical issues prior to this so I wouldnt think its the alternator also I had it connected to full power so i doubt its...

so i pull a plug out but keep it connected to the wire

hold the electrode end near or touching something metal on the car

and just see if i find spark

if not then it can only be a couple...

that was the first thing i checked for and there is no fuel pump fuse or relay

also how do you "check" a relay? i know a fuse you just look at it but arent relays all covered?

battery is tight as a drum. cables are tight and had the van jumped up to it last night and nothing. the starter is getting plenty of power the damn motor just wont turn over

so im on my way to church this morning and i stop at a gas station to fill a low tire. shut the motor of and fill the tire. hop back in and nothing, cranked and cranked and craned but would not turn...
