If you get the valves adjusted, or do it yourself, the valve train quiets down a good bit.

Nah, I wouldnt spray wd-40 on your belts, that will make em slip worse. You could try some fanbelt dressing spray, but id try to tighten it first.

Probably your alt. belt

Tightening it is pretty easy or just inspect the belts for signs of dryrot, ie. cracks, shiny areas on the contact surface. If the belts look old replace them and tighten...

Yeah, the first cd ever put in the unit becomes the security cd, you need that cd to get it to work, I think you can go through eclipse but probably be easier if you bought it new.

My 93 Si does it, but only the first time going forward after startup, it sounds like a fuel pump hum, but I dont think thats it.
